Sending Traffic To Your List Building Page. Part One: Blogging
It took a long time getting your squeeze page built just the way you wanted it, right? Now, how can you get traffic? It’s the lifeblood of the Internet according to some. So, how do you go about getting it?
There are several ways to get traffic, actually, but not all of them may be right for you. Let’s explore the different ways of getting traffic in a series of articles.
The first will be about blogging.
Blogging! You’re probably thinking, I can’t write. Well, yes you can! You don’t have to be Hemingway to start a blog. You can be a decent writer, know how to get a point across, and have a successful blog. Just be sure that people are passionate about your subject matter. If you aren’t, then you shouldn’t even have a squeeze page up and running. If nobody is searching for your keywords, what’s the point? But let’s say that you know they are and that you’re good to go.
Maybe you’re building a list around something rather unusual, like World War II Battleships. If you’re passionate about them, you’ve undoubtedly read lots of books about them, and may even have visited one or two. And let’s say you have pictures! How great is that? Now, you can put those up on your blog, and write a short paragraph about each one. One picture per blog post. Or, just give some great battleship trivia facts. If you write about something most battleship aficionados would know, then write your viewpoint on it, and so on.
But if you absolutely are letting writing a blog yourself stop you, don’t! Hire someone to write posts for you. You can pay as little as $2, or as high as thousands of dollars, but somewhere between $10 and $15 may do the trick. It just depends on how tough your niche is to write about. You won’t get a very high-quality article for $2, that’s for sure. And you may need more research than a $15 an article writer is willing to do. So, what you pay is really up to you. The important thing is to find someone you can work well with and who is dependable.
Make sure that your keyword is in your title, and that you use it early and often in your article, too. Just don’t overdo. About 2% keyword density is considered appropriate now. That means don’t stuff keywords into your post, just to get the search engines to visit. The search engine experts think that Google’s using something called “latent semantic indexing” or LSI to spider content now. That means they’re looking for keywords, but they’re also looking for words and phrases that surround your topic. In other words, don’t have “Britney Spears” as a keyword because people search like mad for it. If you have that keyword, your site had better be about Britney Spears.
Google decides their hierarchy by what they call “page rank.” By meeting the keyword requirement, updating your site often, making your site bigger, etc., Google will give you higher ranking. The higher your page rank, the higher your page will appear in the search engine results pages, in most cases. That means more traffic.
But search engines frown on duplicate content, so don’t post to your blog and then take the very same thing and upload it to a bunch of article directories. Why is this bad? Because search engines want the most unique results they can get for the people who are searching. They don’t want the same article coming up in the first page of their results. So, just completely rewrite your article, if you want to use it for directories, too. Otherwise, only one page will get the benefit of your work and it may not be you.
What will work for you is the fact that blogs are the darlings of search engines. Why? Because spiders can crawl them easily, they’re usually indexed quickly, too. Plus, every post is considered to be another page. So, post every day! The more pages a site has, the higher its page rank will be. That means, the higher it will be in the search engine results pages and the more your site will be seen.
Also put a call to action at the bottom of each post you make that’s hyperlinked to your squeeze page. Include your keywords in that phrase, too. Now, you’re getting direct click-through traffic to your squeeze page. Awesome! Make your blog better every day and watch the traffic grow.
In our next article, we’ll discuss even more great ways to get massive traffic to your blog.

Music Promotional Ideas: An Email List
What is the use for a website if no one ever comes to it? There is no use for one. People keep telling you to get a site and get a page, do this and do that. But one of the most important things you can do for your site and for your music is build a solid, opt-in email list because it will be one of your best musician resources.
First of all, what is an opt-in list? Well, it is exactly as it sounds. It is a list of email addresses that you have collected by having people choose join the list. And really, they are a part of a growing list of fabulous music promotional ideas. This list needs to be a priority to you and needs to constantly grow in order for it to be successful.
Let’s say you want to let all your fans know that you have an upcoming show or that you are releasing a new album. Well, bam! If you already have your opt-in list up and going then all you have to do is create the PR or announcement and hit send. In five seconds you have just reached every single one of your fans on the list. If you have been searching for ideas on how to promote your CD then you have found your new tool.
So, how do I build this list? That’s an easy answer. You need to designate a spot on your page where people can sign up with they visit your site. Collect as much information as possible so you can personalize emails if needed. You can also have people put there email addresses on pieces of paper at your gig. Ask existing friends and fans to forward your emails to other friends that may be interested in hearing from you. Your fans will always know how to promote your CD.
You can also get people to your site to opt-in by offering free stuff. I mean, who can say no to free stuff? Since you aren’t a millionaire…yet, you can offer free MP3 downloads of your songs or other creative, low cost things such as posters or pictures. Just be creative with your music promotional ideas. If you get the people to your site then you have won half the battle.
The Internet is your gateway to success. And building an opt-in list will bring you one step closer to that success. Keep your fans informed with newsletters, freebies, show schedules and album release dates. Put a music player on your site as well so your fans can listen to your tunes with surfing the net. Just remember to always keep up with your list and personalize your emails as much as possible to keep it real.

Home Based Business Opportunities Are Not For Everyone
Millions of people dream of starting their own home based business. With the increased use of the internet, there are now more home based business opportunities than ever before. As long as one has a decent computer and a half-reliable internet connection, a world of moneymaking opportunities will open for even the dullest of people.
This is not to say that the home based business opportunities that the internet offers are for everyone. After all, not everyone is temperamentally qualified for this sort of business. Not everyone has the discipline and the emotional fortitude that is needed when it comes to starting and running a business.
Most people make the mistake of thinking that the internet is some sort of cash machine. In fact, most internet business promoters try consciously to promote this image. Many of these promoters advertise their “success-making secrets” in rather outlandish ways. If you, in fact, spend half an hour reading such ads, you will find that they all promise you easy money and quick success. Which begs the question: Why the hell do they need your money then, if they’ve perfected a system that makes them more than enough?
The preceding paragraph makes one thing clear: The internet is not some sort of magic moneymaking technology. Business is business: One can only make money by offering a product or service that people want and need, and at an attractive price. No matter how attractive the home based business opportunities that are available to you, it would be well for you to remember this fundamental fact.
Should You Take Advantage of a Home Based Business Opportunity?
If you have read this article to this point, then it probably means that you are truly interested in taking advantage of a home based business opportunity, or perhaps several home based business opportunities. The question in your mind now is, “Should I take the plunge?” If you are asking this question, you already probably already have a stable job and are earning a set amount of money. Otherwise the choice would be easy – some money is better than no money, after all.
Of course, even if you are earning a set amount of money, it does not necessarily mean that it is enough for you, on many levels. A job (and its accompanying salary) sometimes cannot provide for even a person’s basic needs. Many people have experienced having to work two jobs to try and make things meet. However, a job can also produce effects that most people find undesirable. Think about the outdoorsman who is stuck in the office the whole day, or the sensitive person who is exposed to office politics, or the ambitious man stuck in a dead-end job. The fact is that a job, no matter how good, will never meet all your needs. That’s because a job is not primarily designed to meet your needs, but to meet the needs of your employer.
So, if you have a home based business opportunity that has a good chance of providing you what you really want in life, go for it! You may find that it is the best risk that you will ever take – and the most rewarding.

5 Perilous Mistakes That People Make In MLM And How To Avoid Them
Multi-level marketing, or MLM, has taken the world by storm. This ingenious manner of direct selling allows the customer to become a representative of the MLM program. As a result, the customer-cum-recruit would be given the opportunity to earn from his efforts.
MLM has been implemented for the online audience in recent years, further elevating its popularity to new heights. A lot are joining MLM programs in this day and age.
But only a few are succeeding.
The reason? It’s because countless multi-level marketers are committing the same mistakes over and over again. Instead of learning from the errors of their predecessors, they fall victim to the very same faults, thus jeopardizing their chances of attaining success in the MLM field.
What are these mistakes? Better yet, how can you avoid them?
1. Believing that MLM is a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. Any person who has experienced a certain degree of success with MLM would tell you that this system is far from being one of those profitable opportunities that you could pursue while being idle. The fact is, you will have to work… and you will have to work hard… to be able to achieve success with multi-level marketing, whether it is conducted online or offline. Though eventually, and if you work hard enough for such a status, you’d be able to receive passive income from the sales that would be generated by your down line, you’d have to extend a lot of effort to establish a solid battalion of committed individuals who will share your devotion to the program. Though all of these may seem like hard work, MLM remains to be a very rewarding opportunity for anyone who would be wise enough to invest their time and energy to the program.
2. Believing your own hype. This is easy. I’m too good for this job. I could do these with my eyes closed. These are statements born from confidence or overconfidence to be more precise. And this haughty disposition could very well be your number one obstacle to attaining success with MLM. Don’t get me wrong. A certain level of confidence will serve you well. You will have to win some sales for the MLM program after all, and you’d have to believe in the said program to be able to convince others to join the cause. And this requires confidence. The right kind of confidence, that is. But too much of the same would make you rest on your laurels, which is something you cannot afford in this line of business.
3. Leads are useless. This kind of attitude is doomed from the very beginning. Leads are the lifeblood of any MLM campaign. Leads represent your prospects, your future recruits. Without leads, your MLM campaign is sure to be a failure.
4. Generating a certain volume of leads is enough. Again, this is an attitude that would spell doom for your success. Lead generation is, as it should be, a continuous commitment. It should never cease. Even if you feel that you have generated enough leads from which you could convert some new recruits, there will come a time when all those leads would be exhausted. What then? Where will you gather your earning potentials if you have stopped looking for leads? A multi-level marketer’s task is to continuously and unceasingly discover new prospects everyday. Let’s face it, its the only way by which you could sustain the profitability of your MLM campaign.
5. Lack of focus. Many multi-level marketers are of the belief that they should join as many MLM programs as allowable to provide for themselves several income streams from which they could derive their earnings. This could prove dangerous. Spreading yourself too think by engaging in several programs at the same time would make you lose your focus. Instead of concentrating all your efforts to achieve success with one program, you’d be dividing the same among several platforms. The best way to deal with things is to firmly establish yourself in one program before venturing to the next. Build a solid down line from which you could earn some residual income in a sustainable and substantial level before joining another program. This way, you’d be ensuring that you’ll receive some profit from the first program even while you’re concentrated on the new one.
Knowledge, they say, is half the battle won. Knowing the common mistakes the multi-level marketers make is the first step towards success, as it would guarantee that you won’t fall prey to what has caused their failure. Learn from them, and succeed where they have fallen.

The Revealing Truth About Affiliate Marketing
If you are promoting a product is an affiliate, you absolutely must use a squeeze page.
Think about it, if you’re spending your hard earned dollars driving tons of traffic to a web site that you are promoting as an affiliate using Google adwords, placing ads in ezines or any other type of paid(and even free) advertisement, you are wasting your money! Especially if that web site does not convert your visitors into a sale.
Instead of driving your visitors directly to the products page that you are promoting as an affiliate, why not send that traffic to a squeeze page where you can collect that person’s e-mail address? In this way you can present them with your “irrisitable offer” over and over again.
You already know what type of visitor you got on your page based on the market you target… right? So all you have to do then is set-up a simple squeeze page wich will convert visitors into subscribers and find a affiliate program that will, in turn, convert your subscribers into buyers.
If you aren’t sure how to build a good squeeze page, please do a google search for another article of mine called “4 Explosive Steps To Build A Killer Squeeze Page”. In this article I explain a simple, 4 step formula to creating a killer squeeze pages over and over again.
Now that you’re using a squeeze page to collect their name and e-mail address you can market to them over and over again on products related to the topic of your newsletter. So if you’re in the dog niche, you could sell them on dog training or dog toys or even dog food.
TIP: Best type of affiliate programs are recurrent ones. So what I mean by that is an affiliate program you only have to promote once, but will bring you a income month in, month out. So if you’re in the dog niche, you could, for instance, sell your subscribers on dog food(Since you need to keep feeding dogs to keep them alive).
Now… using this tactic for any niche you’re in, does not only give you the chance to sell them the first time they are clicking through your affiliate link, but will allow you to present them with the same offer over and over again AND you can sell other, related, products inside that niche. So coming back to the dog niche, you could sell them on a dog, training book the next time OR on dog toys or even on dog clothes!
As you can see, the sky is really the limit. You are only limited by your own imagination(and in this case knowledge on the subject helps, too).
If you are not using squeeze pages for all your paid advertising campaigns when you’re promoting affiliate products in ANY niche… you’re missing the boat, BIG time.
